Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Operations Manager will be responsible for:

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate existing processes, analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement transformation which helps to ensure the smooth running of the business.
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans & procedures, oversees the execution to attain both short and long term financial and mission critical operational goals.
  • Collaborates with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
  • Builds strong alignment with colleagues in Sales & Marketing, Shipping, Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance and other areas of the organization.
  • Able to establish and maintain partnerships & relationships with in & external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and other key players.
  • Act as a bridge from senior management for translating higher level strategies and goals into operating plans to drive the business.
  • Keep the Management Team informed in a timely and candid manner of the conduct of the day-to-day operations towards the achievement of its established goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in any disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business operations and process management, preferably in Retail / Food / FMCG sector
  • Sound knowledge & experience in retail process and driving operation efficiency
  • Hands-on experience in identifying process gaps and implementing solutions
  • Strong analytical thinking and business judgement
  • Ideally, experience of operating in both a sizable corporate and SME business with ambitious growth plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including clients and suppliers
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good command of English, Chinese and Mandarin
