As the Chairman and Co-founder of Tung Shing, William Lai is dedicated to creating a transparent business environment that fosters trust and collaboration between the company's suppliers and customers. Since founding Tung Shing in 1995, he has overseen the company's corporate development, including supply chain management, procurement and distribution, and customer relations.
Prior to launching Tung Shing, Mr. Lai co-founded Woo Lee, a highly respected fruit trading company. During his time there, he honed his expertise in fresh produce procurement, sales strategy development, and customer relationship management, skills that he has brought to bear in his work with Tung Shing.
In addition to his executive roles, Mr. Lai is a member of the Hong Kong Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Association. His extensive experience and unwavering commitment to excellence have helped establish Tung Shing as a leading player in the global fruit and vegetable industry.
As CEO at Tung Shing Fresh Fruit Company Limited, Mr. Leo Lai is responsible for overseeing global procurement and distribution, relationship management, customer expansion, as well as risk and logistics management. With his extensive expertise in finance and investment banking, Mr. Lai brings a wealth of knowledge to the company's operations.
Prior to joining Tung Shing, Mr. Lai worked as an investment banker at BNP Paribas in Hong Kong, where he helped large real estate companies raise capital in the capital market, provided various financial advisory services, and assisted with asset and enterprise-level M&A activities.

Mr. Lai is an active member of Entrepreneur Organization and a committee member of the Cornell Hotel Association. He is also an alumnus of the UBS LEADS program. Mr. Lai holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, where he majored in Hotel Administration and Corporate Finance and minored in Real Estate. With his wealth of experience and dedication to excellence, he has helped propel Tung Shing to the forefront of the global fruit and vegetable industry.

Key Members

Scotty Lee, also known as Lee Guan-Wei, serves as an Executive Director of Lica Fresh Fruit International Limited, responsible for the company's global procurement as well as the distribution of certain subsidiaries in Taiwan and Mainland China's central and northern regions.
Prior to joining Lica, Mr. Lee worked as a sales executive at Kingo Trading Company in Taiwan. After four years of outstanding performance, he was promoted to manage wholesale trade and retail departments, and was later transferred to Beijing to expand the company's market. Around 2015, Kingo Trading also appointed him as Cherry Product Manager, during which he represented the company to negotiate with purchasing agents from various countries such as Canada, the United States, Chile, South Africa, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, and Australia.
Mr. Scotty Lee holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan. His family also engages in agricultural development in Taiwan, specializing in the cultivation of apples, pears, peaches, and other agricultural products. Lica Fresh Fruit International Limited is a company that specializes in the procurement, distribution, and sales of fresh fruits, operating in multiple regions, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United States. The company is committed to providing high-quality and healthy fruits to customers and has established partnerships with local farmers and suppliers to ensure the freshness and quality of their products.
Mr. Eason Chi serves as a strategy consultant. He graduated in 2008 from the National Taiwan University with a degree in Agricultural Economics and a minor in International Relations. During his studies, he developed a strong interest in analyzing agricultural product prices and marketing.
As a student, he organized several lectures on agricultural product trade and became involved in the fruit trading industry. After completing his mandatory military service, he joined a 30-year-old fruit trading company, Ming Ho Industrial Co., Ltd., where he worked as an international purchasing manager for six years. During his tenure, he was responsible for purchasing products that consistently ranked among the top three in the Taiwanese market. He also successfully introduced a new ERP system and developed a proprietary cloud-based messaging management system for the trading industry (currently in public sales).
Mr. Chi has served as a lecturer for the New Zealand Trade Office, the National Taiwan University College of Management, and EMBA programs, as well as hosting trade representative visits for the American Institute in Taiwan. He is currently the founder and CEO of Rings Fresh Corp, where he has integrated the industry's most outstanding sales and procurement teams and established a marketing e-commerce department to tailor marketing plans for agent products, representing an industry innovation.
In 2019, he became the youngest chairman (at 34 years old) of the Taiwan Fruit Importers and Exporters Association.
Lucas Wang is the Regional Sales Manager for the Shanghai region. A graduate of Donghai University with a degree in Economics, Mr. Wang is responsible for managing cargo dispatch, expanding the customer base, and developing new business opportunities for Tung Shing/Lica in Shanghai.
Before joining Tung Shing/Lica, Mr. Wang worked at Jinguo Trading, where he played a key role in wholesale business development and customer retention in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and other regions. He also served as an E-commerce KA and market purchaser during his time in Beijing.
With his extensive experience in sales and business development, as well as his deep understanding of the Chinese market, Mr. Wang is a valuable asset to Tung Shing/Lica as they continue to grow and expand their business in Shanghai and beyond.
Ryan Zhao, also known as Zhao Runji, serves as the Regional Sales Manager for the Beijing region. He is responsible for sales, customer development, and retention in the Beijing area. Mr. Zhao graduated from Shenyang Agricultural University in 2010 and entered the fruit industry in May 2011, working for 9 years at Dalian Yidu Group. From 2015 to 2019, he served as the head of sales for the Beijing region.
Anthony Hua serves as the Category Procurement Manager.
Before joining Lica, Mr. Hua worked in Jin Guo Trading Company as a sales representative for Taiwan markets. Due to his excellent performance, he was sent to production areas to learn and assist in procurement. During his tenure, he represented the company for purchasing negotiations in various countries such as Canada, the United States, Chile, Peru, Japan, and South Korea.
Mr. Hua holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Shih Hsin University in Taiwan. He has a wealth of knowledge and extensive connections in the industry.
Jacques Ye, also known as Ye Qiu Jian, serves as the Regional Sales Manager for Guangzhou. He graduated from Quanzhou University of Technology with a degree in Accounting. In his current role, he is responsible for the operational management of the Guangzhou office, market sales operations, logistics and transportation, as well as business expansion and the maximization of profits through multiple sales channels nationwide.
Prior to joining Tung Shing, Mr. Ye worked for one year in the finance department of the Guilin branch of Xiamen Fuhuida Group Co., Ltd. He then transferred to the Guangzhou branch to work in sales, where he was responsible for sales and logistics coordination, market allocation, and made effective suggestions and recommendations to improve the company's sales operations during his market research trips across the country.
